Course Description
Wedding Photography - once the “dreaded career” - is now a bustling industry where creativity is on fire! Students will build the skills necessary to photograph weddings, elopements, engagements, and other types of events while utilizing current digital equipment and techniques.
Through discussions, demonstrations, and hands-on assignments, students learn about the materials and equipment, cameras, lenses, and post-production software required for making stunning wedding and event photography. Students examine inspiring and educational examples of wedding and event photography, discuss the various components that make the images work, and try their hand at developing a series of their own images, applying presented concepts by submitting weekly assignments.
